Factoid One
This is the first book in the series in which the main character introduced in the first chapter is not a lesbian.

Factoid Two
This is the second longest book in the series. Ironically, even though it is the second longest book, it is the one with the fewest number of chapters.

Factoid Three
When Ainsley made her appearance in "Falling for Jillian Ashley," I decided that one day I'd like to write a book about her. But I figured it might be a few books down the road. However, my beta readers responded to Ainsley so strongly that I thought it would be a great idea make this book about Ainsley.

Factoid Four
Contrary to Ainsley, I had no plans at all to write a book about Rachel! But again, for some reason, readers of this book responded well to that minor character and so I figured, why not?

This is the first book in the series with more than four words in its title.

Factoid Six

This is the first book since A Matter of Trust A Carlsbad Village Lesbian Romance in which Megan Baldwin has a prominent guest-starring role.

The scene in the San Diego clothing boutique, where Ainsley and Krissy share a dressing room is based on something me and my best friend (now girlfriend) do all the time when we go clothes shopping.

Factoid Eight
Coincidentally, my previous first-time-lesbian novel, A Matter of Trust A Carlsbad Village Lesbian Romance, also featured a main character who had just bought a house.

Factoid Nine
I got Ainsley's name from the TV series "The West Wing."

Factoid Ten
The "Alcott" half of the name of the real estate brokerage Rachel works for is the name of the street my father grew up on in the Bronx, before he moved to California after marrying my mother. The "Bartow" half is the name of a street in the same neighborhood. I originally wanted to put "Alcott" first but the brokerage name sounded better with "Bartow" in the first position.

Bonus Factoid
Rachel's amazing foot save in Chapter 12 is based on reality. If you Google "women's volleyball foot save" you will find loads of videos of amazing female athletes performing that maneuver in competition-level volleyball games all over the world.
