Fun Facts for “No More Wasted Time”

Factoid One
I started writing this book as a completely different story! Originally, Becca's love interest was going to be named Emily and this was going to be a second-chance lesfic story. I had written four full chapters before changing my mind and deciding I couldn't get over Krissy being the best choice for Becca.

First book of the series in which the main characters had a long friendship before the book began.

The scene of Krissy working on her client, Charlie, trying to get him to fully buy into an investment fund was partly inspired by a scene in the movie "Imagine Me and You" and partly inspired by a scene in the movie "The Wizard of Lies."

This book has the earliest appearance of a sex scene in the series, in Chapter 2.

Related to above, this book also has the latest appearance of the first sex scene between the main characters.

Similarly, my mention of Grace Kelly in the novel is no accident. I have had a huge crush on Grace Kelly since I was in college and I watched "To Catch a Thief" in a film studies class I was taking.

Bonus Factoid
The names of several of the personnel fighting the fire in the opening chapter are the last names of some of my most loyal fans and beta readers.
